Biografie

Doomsday comenzo a principios de 2009 con tres personajes Obando (todos kontra todos) Juan (Ratas de Ciudad) El Rata (Putrido Sistema) se keria hacer un D-beat raw punk lo que en la ciudad no era muy conocido ,,un punk hardcore con rabia y de corazon bien dischargero fue asi como comenzo Doomsday ,tomando cerveza y por ahi en la calle difundiendo la idea Y asi como se logro sacar el primer cd mak

eta podrido: CRUDO, RUIDOSO, APESTOSO, MOLESTO. asi comenzo a tokar la banda en diferentes ciudades de todo el pais y con bandas parceras como : Krujido, Agitacion, En visperas de un Oscuro Amanecer, K.R.H. Des-Acato. Grita o Muere. Amor y Rabia. O.D.I.O., Terror nuclear, Rebelion, Ingobernables, Mentes Destruidas Endless War ...y bandas internacionales como:(Total Chaos) (anarcolepsia)(dissencion)(piel y huesos) (marcel duchamp) Despues con el tiempo entro una parcera de Bogota a tokar Bajo Daniela (los marginados) y entro otro parcero el Gato(MD) a tokar guitarra en esos tiempos doomsday lanzo el videoclip y algunos splits y algunas compilaciones como: split Doomsday +Axidance + Kürsk + Abyssal ,- V/A: Destruyendo Fronteras ,- Compilado Distort Colombia. Compilado zine Mentes Kaotikas. Ahora en 2012 la banda continuo en Brasil solo siguieron 2 integrantes de la banda original Rata y Juan que siguieron con Doomsday ahora con nuevos integrantes Brasileros, Lua (Eskarro) haciendo la guitarra , Abrahão (Inferno na Terra) haciendo el Bajo , Rafael(inferno na terra) y ya teniendo la oportunidad de tokar con bandas brasileras tambien como : Invasores de Cerebro , Kob 82,Ruido Negativo,Sub Atitude, Mundo no Kaos , Armagedom , Repressão Social, Desvio de conduta , Sarjeta , Excomungados , Delito Anti -Social,entre muchas otras ,, Tambien desenvolviendo otras actividades no solo haciendo ruido tambien participando en otras intervenciones como : Okupaciones , Espacios liberados ,acciones directas , Zines , Contrainformacion , y todo lo que va de la mano con el DIY ,, ROMPIENDO LA RUTINA , ABURRIENDO A LXS MISMXS,,,,,Raw or War !!! Yes, it will happen again this year: The DIY Bikefest!

Organized already for the 4^th time, the DIY Bikefest’s is a perfect mix of serious politics and some serious fun. Gearheads of all sorts will be brought together by this event built of solidarity, respect, tireless volunteer work and a whole lot of bike oil.

This weekend will be for bike punks, bike freaks and lunatics on two wheels. For adrenaline addicts, seekers of positive destruction (we’ve got two words for you: BIKE WARS!) and the laughing spectators of this rolling madness. For enthusiastic newcomers who want to see, learn and experience themselves what it feels like to build your own cycling circus in just two days. In short: for you.

This year’s festical will once again give you the opportunity to

• Work & learn. There’ll be workshops, bike wrecks, parts and tools at your disposal. And plenty of people to lend you a hand whenever you might need it!
• Have fun. Prepare for alley cat, (tall) bike games, bakfiets race with new obstacles and bike wars!
• Make a statement. Show ‘em some pedal power and come block the city streets with a critical mass! We are not an obstruction of traffic – we are the traffic!
• Enjoy. We promise you plenty of delicious vegan food and drinks, bands and DJ’s, bike pits and silly dancing!

Bike culture might already be considered widely accepted but cycling is about more than just that. More than the amount of bikes and bikepaths, or just simple transportation from point A to point B. Bikes offer us the chance to avoid the tyranny of the oil industry and to run away from the constant movement control of OV chip cards. It’s anarchy on wheels!

So come and join us for this year’s festival! But be warned: it’s addictive!

This year’s Bikefest will take place in Utrecht.

The DIY Bikefest is a non-profit festival organized by volunteers. Bike parts are recycled, tools and equipment lent by people who want to contribute… So please respect that. If any profit will be made, it will either go directly towards organizing next year’s festival or be donated to other DIY groups.
