Esto ha sido mencionado muchos antes, sobre la canción "The Day The World Turned Gay" de Anti nowhere league, aparentemente la letra es una conversación que Animal escuchó, un montón de tonterías, creo, pero teniendo esto en cuenta, ¿Cómo sería entonces la letra si hubiese escuchado una conversación racista, en lugar de una conversación homofóbica y transfóbica? ¿Cómo se sentiría la gente entonces? No veo a muchas personas que empiecen ahora sobre "la liga", todavía están tocando en festivales punk, etc.
Estas son algunas de las repugnantes letras de "el día en que el mundo se volvió gay"

Ahora me da asco que una banda con letras como esta haya sido aceptada en la escena punk, no deberían ser aceptadas en ninguna escena, pero ¿y si se tratara de racismo que Animal estaba propagando en lugar de homofobia?
Incluso si se trata de una conversación que escuchó, todavía está difundiendo odio, no escribo canciones usando conversaciones racistas que he escuchado, eso sería racista, entonces ¿la gente todavía las apoyaría?
¿Cuál es la diferencia entre él cantando "ahora tenemos bocanadas, queers y diques, etc." para él cantando algo horrible como "ahora tenemos musulmanes, pakis y africanos, etc."
La homofobia y la transfobia siguen siendo tan malas como el racismo, todo es una intolerancia repugnante, para mí es tan malo como si estuviera cantando letras racistas, ¿cuál es la diferencia? Supongo que la homofobia y la transfobia son aceptables en la escena punk, ¿pensaban que el punk era sobre igualdad? tonto de mí. No debería aceptarse que esta banda difunda odio e intolerancia, es asquerosa y la gente todavía los apoya, "solo se están riendo", pero no hay nada divertido en el odio y la intolerancia.
Si eres una banda que toca con Anti-Nowhere League, un lugar o un promotor que los pone, estás apoyando la homofobia / transfobia. Es 2015, no la década de 1950, retiremos a estos fanáticos fuera de contacto y sus horribles vistas a la basura de la historia a la que pertenecen.

This has been mentioned by many before, about the song “The Day The World Turned Gay” by Anti nowhere league, apparently the lyrics are a conversation Animal heard, a load of bollocks I think but keeping that in mind, what about If the Lyrics were a racist conversation he heard, instead of homophobic and Transphobic one? how would people feel then? I don’t see many people kicking off now about “the league” they’re still playing punk festivals etc.

Now it disgusts me a band with lyrics like this are been accepted in the punk scene they shouldn’t be accepted in any scene but what about if it was racism Animal was spreading instead of homophobia ?
Even if it is a conversation he heard, he is still spreading hate, i don’t write songs using racist conversations I’ve heard, That would be racist, so Would people still support them then ?
What’s the difference between him singing “now we’ve got puffs, queers and dykes etc. ” to him singing something awful like “now we’ve got muslims, pakis and Africans etc. ”
Homophobia and Transphobia is still as bad as racism, it’s all disgusting bigotry, to me it’s just as bad as if it was racist lyrics he was singing, what’s the difference? I suppose homophobia and transphobia is acceptable in the punk scene, thought punk was about equality? silly me. This band shouldn’t be accepted spreading hate and bigotry it’s disgusting and still people support them, “they’re just having a laugh”, but there is nothing funny about hate and bigotry.
If you are a band playing with Anti-Nowhere League, a venue or promoter putting them on, you are supporting homophobia / transphobia. Its 2015 not the 1950s, let’s retire these out of touch bigots and their horrible views to the trash of history where they belong.
