(Weto turn out heads to evade the anguish amongst us alli hold major criticisms of how the culture i am enveloped within handles death. i feel that the avoidance of the subject in general and the common practice of shutting one's mind of the possibility of death further removes one from the betterment of life. i am referring directly to the death of ourselves, the death of our loved ones, the death of those near and distant to us, and the death of our species.i have come to terms with the inevitability of my own death. this does not mean that i am by any means ready to die. this does not mean that i want to die anytime soon. it simply means that i recognize that my existence is not permanent and that i can accept that. i am of the contention that my acceptance of the possibility of my death in the distant - or even the not-so-distant - future allows me to put my life in perspective: most of the bullshit that we are forced to deal with in our daily lives seems so trivial and meaningless with that in mind.i want to live. i want to experience as much as i am able to. i want to spend as little time as possible partaking in anything that i am not expressly interested in. i want to make the most out of this human experience. the fear of death itself is the fear of life itself.)
